The closest town to the cottages, Llandeilo, offers a range of indepedent boutique-style shops, plus a Friday market and WI market, whilst further along the road, Carmarthen offers many of the more well-known businesses, with a new shopping precinct having recently been opened, alongside the more unique shops offered as well.  Carmarthen also contains an interesting market offering a wide range of goods.
