Due to the position of the cottages in Wales, both the South coast and West coast of Wales are both only around 30 miles away, a quick drive from Talley.

To the South, there is the Gower Peninsula, a beautiful unspoilt range of beaches and bays, ideal for walking, surfing and swimming.  Pembrey Country Park is a large area full of activites, surrounded by a long beach with renowned surf.  Also in the South is the town of Tenby, an hisotic castle town with beautiful beaches.

To the West, Cardigan Bay stretches for miles upon miles, boasting scenic walks and breathtaking beaches, and also offers a unique dolphin watching experience.  Also to the West, St David's offers many boat tours around the coast.
