Abbey cottages are perfectly situated for exploring the many
delights of the area. The Dolaucothi goldmines dating from
Roman times, the spectacular Dan-Yr-Ogof caves, the National
Botanic Gardens of Wales with one of the largest single-span
glasshouses in the world, the National Wetlands Centre of
Wales and, of course, the Brecon Beacons National Park are all
within easy reach.

There are also many historic castles, stately homes and
beautiful gardens nearby, and the seaside towns of Cardigan
Bay are only an hour away. Golf, horse-riding and fishing are
also available locally.

The nearby town of Llandeilo (7 miles) offers a choice of
shops, several good restaurants and inns, a post office, and
Tourist Information Centre.
