The Brecon Beacons National Park is full of wonderful places, guaranteed to give you a sense of exhilaration and freedom. Little can match the enjoyment of striding along the open ridges, strolling along the peaceful towpaths or exploring the beautiful, sun-dappled woods. The Brecon Beacons National Park is located just 15 mins from Abbey Cottages.

Short walks: local trails

Just five minutes from our cottages are three marked walks taking you up and around the local hills. The shortest loop is 5km and the most challenging 7.5km.

Abbey Cottages is set in 20 acres of unspoilt countryside, including two lakes, a birdwatching hide and a Norman motte.
