Abbey Cottages are located in the village of Talley, in the historic county of Carmarthenshire, a short distance from the charming market town of Llandeilo, on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons national park.

Join the lane that lies behind the cottages and a short walk will take you to Yr Hen Efail, The Old Smithy, which is well-stocked with the daily necessities. In the evenings, the National Trust owned Cwmdu Inn is two miles away in the picturesque hamlet of Cwmdu.

A little further afield, the thriving market town of Llandeilo (recently voted The Best Place to Live in Wales by the Sunday Times) is just seven miles away, offers independent art galleries, boutiques and shops, a wide-selection of award-winning restaurants and cafes, as well as Llandyfeisant Church and Dinefwr Castle.

Beyond this, the historic county of Carmarthen offers a wide range of attractions, such as Aberglasney Gardens, the Carreg Cennen castle, the mountains Fan Gyhirych and Pen y Fan and historic attractions such as the iron-age Garn Goch hillfort.

Abbey Cottages is an idyllic group of properties ideal for immersing yourself in the incredible scenery of Carmarthenshire.
