Buzzards Watch is a mid-sized cottage, perfect for families or groups of up to five people (with two couples).
The cottage is dog-friendly and provides a wonderful family friendly environment, with an open fire-place for cozy evenings in. The cottage benefits from a smart TV (with complimentary Netflix), fast wifi and a wide range of board games and books. Outside, you can enjoy breakfast overlooking the abbey or take advantage of the large enclosed communal garden, which is perfect for barbecues and family games. A range of interesting walking routes are also on the doorstep, with the Black Mountain only eight miles away for cyclists and the majesty of the Brecon Beacons a short drive. The lively market town of Llandeilo is 10 minutes down the road.

As you walk in to Buzzards Watch, you will be step in to an open plan kitchen/ living and dining area. The perfect place to enjoy quality time together. Two cosy sofas are gathered around a cosy open fireplace, perfect for relaxing evenings in after a day of exploring or simply for enjoying the soothing sound of the flames during the colder Welsh months.
A smart TV and a selection of board games beneath the console offer entertainment for cosy nights in. From the front windows, enjoy views across the courtyard and towards the historic Abbey ruins.
The dining table for five sits at the front of the cottage where guests can enjoy meals while looking out at the Abbey.
The kitchen with quaint cottage window overlooks the greenery behind. Featuring everything you need for relaxed home cooking. There’s an electric stove and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and high-quality Sage appliances including a coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
Original features such as the beams above and the stone wall behind the dining table provide true rustic cottage charm.
There are three cosy bedrooms upstairs to choose from, each offering storage, bedside tables and freshly laundered bedding and towels.
The first bedroom is perfect for one, with a comfy single bed and luxurious bedding and pillows.
Bedroom 2 and 3 offers a double bedroom in each, offering a quaint and cosy nights sleeps after a day of exploring the estate and beyond.
The bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower, sink and toilet.
Step outside to the front courtyard, where a table and two chairs provide an ideal spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
Guests at Buzzards Watch also have access to a shared communal garden with picnic benches and children’s play equipment, making this cottage a lovely escape for both couples and families alike. Guests staying at Abbey Cottages have full access to the wider estate and are encourages to explore and immerse themselves into history and nature during their stay.
